Read Across America Day 2026

I spent the morning of February 27, 2026 reading The Annex to 4th graders at Combs Elementary in Raleigh, NC. "Do we have time for one more chapter?" I asked. "YESSS!" shouted the 4th graders! We "read for the gold" to celebrate Read Across America day!
